1960's Star Trek, 1980's-1990's next generation, 1990's Deep Space Nine, 1990's Voyager and 2000's Enterprise. Both my wife and I loved them all. As I look back watching these shows was for me of keeping some resemblance normalcy. There was a hope in these shows that was not in the Wt. Cult. We had not seen Voyager or Deep Space Nine of about 15 years. Need to find a cheap set of DVD of these programs. What a great feeling. Thanks for bringing this up berrygerry. Still Totally ADD

Public Talk - Probe to Uranus
by berrygerry ini'm being deadly serious - many, many years ago, an english (uk) visiting speaker, giving a talk on science and the bible, made the statement:.
"as we speak, there is a probe that is nearing uranus.".
myself and one other brother were just dying trying to control an explosion of laughter.. i so desperately wanted to yell out: "and they're searching for klingons.".

Many years ago a elder was giving a talk on nature. After bringing points about animals, birds and insects he started talking about fish and how they feed on tiny organism to keep alive. But instead of saying organism he said orgasm. Just not once but serveral times. One statement was all those orgasm our out in the water to feed the fish. We just about died trying not to laugh outloud. So next time you go out on a lake or ocean watch out for all those orgasm. LOL Still Totally ADD

October 2nd, 2014: The World Ends Tomorrow, Taking all Bets!
by Oubliette inon october 2, 1914, charles taze russell, founder of the watchtower, announced that the gentile times have ended!.
tomorrow will be exactly 100 years since his historic announcment.. to commemorate this centennial occasion, i will gladly take bets in any amount of money that the world will not end tomorrow and that on friday, october 3rd, 2014 gmt, we will still all be here, for better or worse.. any die-hard jws interested in taking the other side of this friendly little wager?
still hoping the big "a" is coming tomorrow and your loving god, jehovah, is going to commit mass genocide and execute 99.9% of earth's population because they don't follow the dictates the 7 members of the "faithful and discreet slave," aka, the governing body of jehovah's witnesses?.

Why isn't the world a frazzle?
by punkofnice inwhen i was a jw i had a lot of silly ideas that seemingly explained things i wondered about.
arguments from ignorance or special pleading i suppose.
actually, my conclusions were daft.. one thing i have wondered about and i don't know if anyone else has, is why man hasn't either rendered the earth to a cinder or why there haven't been more nukes go off against nations.

I have also wondered the same thing. What I have learned or heard about is it would only take maybe 2 or 3 nuclear warheads hitting major cities to wipe out the whole earth with nuclear winter. It may be the fear of killing yourself has stop others in using nuclear weapons. Just a thought. Mankind is at a point in it's evolution of going extinct by it's own greed and foolishness or getting past all this and advancing to a better world. I hope for the better world. Still Totally ADD

OnTheWayOut those who believe don't call them Dinosaurs anymore they are now called Gospel Lizards. LOL I heard that one just the other day. A Parrot makes more sense than a snake. The we could have all been scared of Parrot when we see one instead of snakes. LOL Still Totally ADD
